Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of @ohpinion. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The same terms are shown inside the app.

1. About @ohpinion

@ohpinion is a social platform where people post content and receive community ratings on a 1–10 scale, including posts and short Spills (photo or video).

2. Minimum age

You must be at least 14. By registering you confirm that your date of birth is accurate. Users aged 14–17 are teen accounts and receive enhanced privacy protections. If we discover that a user is under 14, the account is removed.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure, for activity on your account, and for giving accurate registration information, including your date of birth. Do not share your account. Do not create an account for someone else or impersonate another person.

4. Content you post

You are responsible for images, video, text, ratings, and comments you submit. By posting you confirm that you have the right to post it and that it does not break these Terms or the law. You keep ownership of what you create. You grant @ohpinion a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and moderate that content so the service can run. @ohpinion does not claim ownership of your posts.

5. Prohibited content

The following can lead to immediate removal, suspension, or a permanent ban:

• Nudity and sexual content. Explicit nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit content.
• Sexual content involving minors. Anything that sexualises, exploits, or endangers a minor. Child sexual abuse material is prohibited and will be reported to the relevant authorities.
• Graphic violence. Gratuitous gore, extreme violence, or content meant to shock.
• Harassment and bullying. Content meant to harass, intimidate, humiliate, or bully a person.
• Hate speech. Hatred, discrimination, or violence based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
• Threats. Credible threats of violence or harm.
• Illegal or dangerous activity. Content that promotes or depicts illegal activity or real-world harm.
• Spam, scams, and fraud. Unsolicited promotion, phishing, or deception.
• Impersonation. Pretending to be another person, public figure, or organisation.
• Rating abuse. Brigading, fake reviews, or multiple accounts used to move a score.

6. Moderation

Uploaded images are reviewed by an automated system before they become public. Content may be rejected or sent to an administrator. Posts stay pending until moderation finishes. Rejected content is not shown publicly. You can report content or accounts. Administrators review reports and act on them.

7. Ratings and comments

Ratings use a 1–10 scale. Use them honestly. Coordinated manipulation, fake accounts, and automated bulk rating are prohibited.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or permanently close accounts that post prohibited content, repeatedly break these Terms, abuse or manipulate the platform, or belong to someone under 14. You may delete your own account at any time from Settings. Deletion is permanent. See Delete your account.

9. No purchases

The app does not sell subscriptions, coins, or other in-app purchases. Sponsored placements in the feed are advertising, not a purchase by you. See Payments and refunds.

10. Intellectual property

The @ohpinion name, logo, and product design belong to @ohpinion. Do not use them without permission.

11. Disclaimer

@ohpinion is provided “as is,” without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, @ohpinion is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the service. Community scores are opinions from other users, not a professional assessment.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Significant changes are notified in the app. Continuing to use @ohpinion after that means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of your place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We will try to resolve a dispute informally first. Where a formal process is required, it follows the laws and forums that apply to you.
